A post gets shared for one of three reasons: it makes the sharer look smart, it makes them feel seen, or it gives them something practical their friend will thank them for.
Most channel posts do none of these. They are well-written, well-designed, and inert. They inform — they don't invite.
The fix is structural. Open with a line the reader wants to be quoted saying. Make the second paragraph the share-worthy idea. Compress the rest. Most posts are 40% too long.
Add one specific, named example. Not 'a creator' — a name. Specificity is shareable.
End with a sentence the reader can finish in their own words. The best post endings feel like passing the mic, not closing the curtain.
Test this for a week. Measure shares per 1,000 views. You'll see the lift before the subs do.
